Narrabundah Residence
This Canberra home, used as a second residence by our client, required a full interior renovation to bring it into the 21st century. The redesign included a reconfigured kitchen, laundry, mudroom, and main bathroom, along with custom joinery to house his extensive book collection. Although the joinery design and materials had to meet a very tight budget, the outcome feels anything but low-cost. Bold colours, new oak timber flooring and wall colour , black door hardware, neutral textured fabrics, and modern lighting have transformed the once dark and unremarkable interior into a striking, contemporary retreat, now the perfect canvas for his eclectic aesthetic.
