City Apartment Renovation

This apartment renovation, the first phase of a two-part project, builds on a few past collaborations with our client. They asked for a moody, bar-inspired vibe in the open kitchen-living space which we reimagined to maximize storage and incorporate high-end finishes such as Carrara marble splashback tiles, terrazzo and engineered stone benchtops, dark cabinetry, and brass detailing. Instead of a dining table, they opted for an 8-seater bench which keeps the space open and inviting, while freeing up room for more living room furniture. The bespoke living room cabinetry, inspired by Canberra’s West Row arches, includes a built-in cocktail cabinet with brass mesh doors, mirror finishes inside and custom lighting. The entry was transformed into a gallery space, showcasing the client’s artwork and giving the apartment a personal, artistic touch.

We also carefully selected new furniture, soft furnishings, feature lighting and window treatments to complement the space and add to the luxurious aesthetic.

The result is a functional, elegant space that truly reflects the client’s vision. They’re thrilled with their new redesigned spaces and it’s quickly become a favourite for entertaining their friends.
